I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The relaxed and welcoming ambience, along with the characterful building, made for a wonderful experience. The owners have done a fantastic job upgrading the bedrooms without losing the hotel's charm. The owner was friendly and helpful, and I can't wait to return for a longer stay in the future. The location, nestled in beautiful countryside, is perfect for a chilled out getaway or as a base for outdoor activities like trekking and biking.
Couldn't find any faults at all. 👌

I cant say because I stayed only 1 night and during my short stay I was a bit surprised about hotel and service.
I did not like extended room on the backyard which was previously stables, rooms are furnished in a poor and old way, room was not cleaned ( ants running around, dead flys smashed on TV since...cant say, during breakfast you can see flys and dogs running inside around your table.

The hotel is most charming and located on the most beautiful lake we've seen. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and speak good English. The dining experience was a real surprise; the food was exceptionally well cooked and the waiter had a very good knowledge of his wines. It's also very good value for money. We were very, very impressed with this hotel and will be back.

The whole vibe of this place is totally chill and welcoming, with a seriously cool and unique building. The owners have done an amazing job sprucing up the rooms without losing any of the character. The owner is a legend, so friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be coming back for a longer stay, because every time I've passed through here, I've absolutely loved it. This hotel is perfect if you want to unwind in the beautiful countryside.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel near a picturesque lake. The location was perfect, as it was close to the lake and provided stunning views of the hills. The rooms were beautifully furnished with fabulous antique furniture and some even had balconies with a view of the lake. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, going above and beyond to assist us with any issues we had. The breakfast each morning was delicious, offering a great variety of options including boiled eggs, meats, cheeses, yogurts.
All was perfect, no improvements needed.

Despite what I answered in question 1, the questions don't reflect what I really feel. I love this hotel. It's so very French, and of a type which is disappearing far too fast. The rooms are comfy enough, the reception area is great - particularly the main staircase which is wooden and creaky. The dining room is wonderful, the terrace is fabulous, the breakfast is terrific and the dinner is old-fashioned brasserie-type food of really quite high quality. It's also not that expensive. The waitress is satisfactorily rude, but very efficient, so what the hell. For me it's positioned perfectly for a slow drive down to Nice, along what must be one of the most beautiful roads in Europe, allowing us to reach home in Italy in about 6 hours. There's really nothing wrong with this place. It's not 4-star for sure, but what more can I say? It's really, really good.
There's absolutely nothing I didn't like about this hotel, although if I have to nit-pick, I'd say the kirs are a bit on the weak side.

The view was stunning, and the staff was fantastic. They offered a delicious breakfast, and the room was very clean with a modern bathroom. The location was ideal with easy access to nearby attractions.
The room we stayed in was dated and not very comfortable. The bed was a bit too firm, and the lack of air conditioning made it difficult to sleep comfortably at night.

I had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is located close to a picturesque lake and away from everything that ails you. The staff were extremely helpful and provided recommendations for local dining and bicycle routes. The breakfast was awesome and the room was clean and comfortable.
Not one thing went wrong.

Evening meal was good and was good value for money. The surrounding county side has the most amazing scenery.
'The lake view' was not really what we expected as the lake was further away than we imagined. The hotel's bedrooms are now rather run down but we accept that it does not cost a lot to stay there.

The restaurant in the hotel was fine as there was nowhere else to eat. The rooms were very poor, no sockets, no t.v. very small and need some updating

Gor's hospitality, spectacular lakes area, welcoming and spacious property, secure parking for bikes, stunning food at restaurant.
Could not be improved in any way.

pretty, comfortable hotel. However we had expected it to be on the lakeside rather than on a busy road some distance from the lake!

Friendly staff who were helpful. We went during the off-season and couldn't find a restaurant in town. So we ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner...absolutely delicious!

The hotel's location, away from everything that ails you, offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for those looking to unwind and connect with nature.
